It’s not often you come across artists who have it all, but NERVO do. Australian sisters Liv and Mim Nervo are the real deal: hit songwriters, producers, and DJ’s whose skills have attracted a Who’s Who of pop music’s hottest artists drawn to the girls’ clever lyrics, indelible melodies, and bold, sassy electro-pop sound that bridges the gap between the underground and the mainstream. Multi-talented DJ/Producer/Artist duo NERVO release their new Astralwerks single “Hold On” co-produced by R3hab today exclusively on iTunes, with an extended mix available exclusively on Beatport. “Hold On” which was the most added song at club radio last week, is the latest banger added to the growing arsenal of hits from EDM’s leading ladies. They premiered the song March 28th on Billboard.com, after playing it live during their sets at ULTRA and Miami Music Week. A remix EP will be released on May 7th, 2013. “Hold On” is NERVO’s third single released through Astralwerks and is sure to follow the success of the top 10 Billboard Club chart debut “We’re All No One” featuring Steve Aoki and Afrojack and top 5 hit “You’re Gonna Love Again.” The videos for both songs have racked up nearly 11 million views collectively. NERVO have also released several collaborations over the last two years through Spinnin Records including the massive 2011 official Tomorrowland anthem “The Way We See The World” produced with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, “Reason” with Hook N Sling “Something To Believe In” with Norman Doray feat. Cookie. All three have reached the top 5 on Beatport’s singles chart and have received over 20.4 million views on youtube. NERVO celebrated their first #1 on Beatport’s single with their Nicky Romero collaboration “Like Home” released last December through Protocol Recordings. The video has already racked up over 1.25 million video views since it premiered last month. NERVO recently finished a busy week at Miami Music Week which included an incredible main stage set on ULTRA’s mainstage, their own party at Mynt with legendary Pete Tong and Nicky Romero, a CoverGirl sponsored party at the SLS and a set with Nicky Romero and David Guetta together at the Protocol Recordings party at FDR. The girls show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. It was recently announced that they have signed on to do a residency at new Las Vegas hot spot Hakkasan where other top tier DJs including Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, R3hab and have confirmed residencies. They are currently on tour in Mexico and will play parties at Coachella and Wet Republic in Vegas before heading to the UK and Europe to play several gigs throughout April and May, all in between spending time in the studio to work on their debut full-length album.
