Clinton Remixed
"People Power In The Disco Hour" and "Buttoned Down Disco" have gotten worked over by the likes of Q-Burns Abstract Message, Romanthony, Los Amigos Invisibles and Scratch Perverts.

Clinton at the movies
Clinton's "Welcome To Tokyo, Otis Clay" will be one of the songs in the Miramax movie "The Yards". Starring Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, Charlize Theron, James Caan, Faye Dunaway and Ellen Burstyn, and set in the New York suburb of Queens, this is a story about a crime that blows the whistle on corruption in the commuter rail business and threatens to tear a friendship and family apart.

Clinton hits the streets
Clinton releases their debut, "Disco And The Halfway To Discontent" (Astralwerks/Luaka Bop) on January 25, 2000. For those of you not familiar with Clinton, they are the duo Tjinder Singh and Ben Ayres of Cornershop fame. Clinton makes beat based songs coupled with technology - basically taking Cornershop out of the rock clubs and on to the dancefloor. "Disco And The Halfway To Discontent" is an album made up with decades of dancefloor influences. Songs range from seventies funk to nineties French new House, via eighties hip hop, and all held together with a whole lot of humor and the idea of "taking disco heat on the street."
