102 Dalmations
The highly anticipated sequel to the '96 blockbuster, sees Cruella De Ville (Glenn Close who else!) being released from prison on good behaviour, and (of course) she plots another "fur-ocious" scheme to get the ultimate dalmation coat, all set in Paris, France. TV and theatrical trailers will start in November and partly feature "Hymn" from the Craig Armstrong soundtrack of "Plunkett and Macleane". Film opens nationwide on Thanksgiving week!

Quills
Theatrical trailers for Fox Searchlight's "Quills" feature two compositions "Ball" and "Escape" by Craig Armstrong from the "Plunkett & MacLeane" soundtrack. The Negotiator"

BAFTA Award Winner
Craig won the BAFTA award (the English Oscar) for best achievement in film music for the "Romeo & Juliet" score.

Ivor Novello award
Craig won a 1998 Ivor Novello award (prestigious composer's award) for his score for "Romeo+Juliet". Elton John told the crowd that "The Space Between Us" was definitely the best album he's heard this year.

A ray of light
Craig contributed string arrangements to Madonna's Ray Of Light, including the strings for the hit single "Frozen."

The Space Between Us

"Electronic renaissance man Craig Armstrong has done it all: studied composing at the Royal Academy of Music; worked with Madonna, Nellee Hooper, and U2; penned the score for Romeo + Juliet; and arranged the strings on Massive Attack's Protection. For The Space Between Us, he intertwines pop and classicism, offering languid hip-hop beats and swelling symphonics. Armstrong calls in Cocteau Twin Liz Fraser to add fragile vocals to "This Love" and Blue Nile lyricist Paul Buchanan to croon in "Let's Go Out Tonight." The set is similar in feel to the late, great Talk Talk's albums, and, appropriately, released on Massive Attack's Melankolic label."
