Founded seven years ago by Guy Manuel of Daft Punk and Éric ‘Rico’ Chédeville, Crydamoure is now opening a whole new chapter in its history with the release of the ”Waves II” compilation. Endowed with a knack for igniting dance floors all around the world, Crydamoure has built up its reputation by adopting an artistic approach to house style that is highly personal in terms of both music and graphics. Melodic, exotic, and rhythmic, the label now has 20 E.P.s to its name, some of them already dance floor classics.

The label has encouraged an array of young French artists to take their first musical steps, including Play Paul, Deelat and, more recently, Archigram, who not only mixed this collection, but has contributed the massive track “Doggy Style” which samples and loops the instantly recognizable refrain from the Stooges classic “I Wanna Be Your Dog”. White label promo 12” copies of this track have already been serviced to A-list DJ’s around the world.

Also featuring brand new tracks from Le Knight Club, the recording alias of Guy Manuel and Éric 'Rico' Chédeville, ”Waves II” is a roller coaster ride from beginning to end, and further establishes Crydamoure as a champion of high-quality underground house.
