Saturday April 29, 2000 Peacocks. Playmates. Parisians. That was the recurring theme of a special party at the Playboy Mansion hosted by Hugh Hefner to celebrate the launch of the Dimitri From Paris mix CD "A Night At The Playboy Mansion". Though it seemed as though half of the Parisian music scene had arrived on Hef's doorstep, the party was also a magnet for lovers of Dimitri's inimitable deluxe disco funk style. Attendees ranged from L.A. club-hoppers to celebrities such as Spike Jonze and Sofia Coppola and Dim delivered a wonderfully eclectic set of thoughtfully marinated beats topped with a dash of Brazilian jazz and a generous helping of classic disco, mixed together into Dim's own special recipe.

Though we can't reveal what went on after hours, here are a few moments from the main event.
