The long-awaited 2 x DVD companion release to the recently acclaimed 2 x CD live set - This is the first ever official document of Kraftwerk's legendary live show.
Over the last decade, Ralf Hütter, Florian Schneider,
Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz have toured the world, and in 2003,
as rare and splendid as a returning comet in the night sky, Kraftwerk
released Tour De France Soundtracks, which has already electrified the
band's global army of disciples and imitators in awed anticipation of
future releases.
Now, in 2005, Kraftwerk recently returned to the U.S. for a short series of sold-out live shows in major markets, which received unanimous rave reviews from regional and national press. To co-incide with these dates, Astralwerks released Kraftwerk's first ever official live recordings, a 2 x CD set entitled Minimum-Maximum, a milestone event in the band's illustrious career and one which has galvanized Kraftwerk fans, both young and old. Now the band's followers have more reason to rejoice as we release the first ever official filmed document of the Kraftwerk live experience on a double DVD set. Kraftwerk's shows are an eye-popping multi-media extravaganza featuring costume changes, seamless audio-visual triggers and the legendary mechanical "robots" onstage. Watch excerpted versions of three classic tracks to the left.
