THE 5 BEST HALSEY ‘BAD AT LOVE’ REMIXES

10.11.2017

From Dillon Francis, Autograf, Hook N Sling and more.

Halsey‘s “Bad At Love” comes off the alt-pop star’s hopeless fountain kingdom (Deluxe) album and currently sits at No. 57 on the Hot 100 chart.

In a recent installment of Billboard‘s series “How It Went Down,” the singer-songwriter says she thought of the record’s concept in the midst of a breakup. She also adds that “Every time I hear the song or play the song, I see Leo [DiCaprio] in his Hawaiian T-shirt riding down the highway jumping around the backseat with his friends.”

“Bad At Love” now boosts its profile with five official remixes. The package leads with Dillon Francis‘ hip-swinging, vocal chop-driven rework that will take listeners straight back to summer.

Given the uniqueness of each remix on the package, Billboard Dance has decided to put a proper spotlight on each “Bad At Love” rendition.

Halsey – “Bad At Love” (Dillon Francis Remix)

Dillon Francis brings his love for moombahton to forefront of his infectious “Bad At Love” remix. Fans of Major Lazer and DJ Snake will instantly be hooked on this interpretation. Time to break out the new dance moves.

Halsey – “Bad At Love” (Hook N Sling Remix)

Hook N Sling deliver a sprightly reimagination of the original with warm piano chords and peppy, helium-breathed vocal clips. If you’re vibing to Dillon Francis’ remake, you’ll want to have this one on repeat, as well.

Halsey – “Bad At Love” (Klangkarussell Remix)

“Bad At Love” gets the house treatment from Klangkarussell, an Austrian duo whose eclectic originals have earned them over 100 million total streams on Spotify. Give this one a handful of listens, it’ll grow on you.

Halsey – “Bad At Love” (Autograf Remix)

What is this sorcery? Autograf hone in on their creative prowess with their “Bad At Love” remix and drop an innovative rendering of the record. From the intricate percussion and rumbling off-screen shakes to the retro processed synths, there’s plenty of genius to take in.

Halsey – “Bad At Love” (Generik Remix)

Generik’s “Bad At Love” remix is much more straight forward, but still possesses just as much groove as the rest on the pack. Grab your shiny black shoes and slide onto the dance floor. Stay classy.
