SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA will ring in the NYE by taking over the airwaves from 10pm – 12am EST on Evolution, iHeartRadio’s brand new EDM station, Tune in to Evolution to hear to hear Swedish House Mafia play their favorite tracks and discuss highlights from their amazing year. The show also will include an exclusive, never before aired segment recorded live at their historic last UK show at Milton Keynes Bowl.’ The live NYE broadcast will run from 8pm – 4am EST and will also feature Calvin Harris, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk and Diplo.

Launched last month, Evolution is iHeartRadio’s new station dedicated to dance music and is hosted by Pete Tong. Evolution features “All Gone Pete Tong,” a live, two-hour daily show along with an impressive lineup of radio shows hosted by a rotation of popular and up-and-coming DJs including: Diplo, Wolfgang Gartner, Morgan Page, Fatboy Slim, Dim Mak, Roger Sanchez and more . Evolution will also air exclusive content from Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour in addition to their featured show with all-new mixes. Programming will also include special spin sessions, on-air interviews and guest-hosted radio shows with world-class DJs and EDM producers.

Swedish House Mafia are ending 2012 and starting 2013 with one of the biggest songs on the charts as their global smash “Don’t You Worry Child” feat. John Martin continues to reach epic heights around the world. and entered the top 10 on the singles chart this week. The #1 Billboard club chart topper and Gold certified hit entered the top 10 on the singles chart this week and is racing towards Platinum as it also approaches the top 10 on the Top 40 airplay Charts. In February, it will compete for a Grammy award in the Best Dance Recording category. “Don’t You Worry Child” is the lead single from the Swedes’ second compilation album ‘UNTIL NOW’ which was released on October 22nd and forms the official soundtrack to the group’s massive world-wide One Last Tour.

Last week, Swedish House Mafia began to announce the supporting line up for their hugely anticipated 35,000 a night capacity Masquerade Motel, which will host two stages at the Los Angeles Historic Park on March 8th & 9th. March 8th will bring Alesso, Otto Knows, Mat Zo and Third Party to the main stage and Nero (DJ Set), Sub Focus, Clockwork and Monsta to the The Marquee. On March 9th, The Swedes will be joined again by Alesso on the main stage along with Zedd , AN21 & Max Vangeli & No ID with Sub Focus, Style of Eye, Clockwork and Monsta returning to The Marquee. Swedish House Mafia’s massive One Last Tour, which is the group’s most extensive outing ever, started last month in Dubai and has made stops throughout India, Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia. In 2013 will visit Asia, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, South Africa and Australia before reaching stateside on February 13th. The North American leg will hit San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, NYC, LA and Miami. It was announced last month that the final curtain call for One Last Tour will happen at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, marking a significant milestone in the group’s career together. Ultra is where Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso played their first festival headline in North America. They will play both the opening night of the festival on March 15th and the closing on March 24th in what is sure to be an emotional farewell to the group’s millions of fans across the globe and promises to create unrivalled memories for fans and the group alike. On February 28th, The Swedes will throw a Black Tie Rave on February 28th at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief. The intimate fundraiser will happen the day before their first of four sold out arena shows in NYC. The first round of tickets were auctioned off last Friday, Dec. 14th and with under a third of the ticket available the band raised $437000 in income for the charity. Another round of bidding is expected to be announced in January. Swedish House Mafia will donate 100% of the net proceeds from the Black Tie Rave to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund in support of hurricane relief efforts.
