 The Kooks are back with the release of their eagerly anticipated album KONK. This is the stunning follow up to the hugely successful Inside In / Inside Out, their breakout debut which sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The Kooks songwriting and musical talents land them in the vein of UK singer-songwriting greats ranging from the Kinks and the Stones to The Killers, Strokes and beyond. This follow up album was produced by Tony Hoffer, the genius behind Inside In / Inside Out who is also known for his work with Beck, Dave Gahan, Air, and Supergrass; recorded once again at Ray Davies' Konk Studios in London and this time the album is named after this legendary North London recording studio. |
